Ampoules intended for use with the Digital Storage Device (DSD) product.

Product Characteristics

  • The Ampoule is a single use, sterile container which is used for the storage of 400μl (Microlitres) of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and will remain functional for 7 days if stored at 22-24 degrees Celsius and agitated at 90 Rotations Per Minute (RPM).

Product Components

  • Ampoule Cap - The Ampoule Cap is made of Polypropylene and consists of a Septum. A self-sealing septum is incorporated into the lid to allow the Ampoules to be filled without opening the lid and minimize the risk of contamination during the filling process.
  • Septum - The Septum is made from thermoplastic rubber and has a shore hardness of 60A. The septum is easy to penetrate without fragmentation and remain leak-free after puncturing with a 20/21 Guage needle.
  • Ampoule Container – The Ampoule Container is a made of a Polypropylene medical-grade plastic material. The container body is kept transparent to allow visual inspection of PRP during filling. The volume of the container is 2ml.
  • The Ampoule does not contain phthalates or latex.

The Ampoule is intended for the storage of a platelet concentrate sample.
